Medical Centre Lead Clinician

The Duke of York’s Royal Military School is seeking to appoint a Medical Centre Lead Clinician (registered) of either a Nursing or Paramedic background.

This exciting role involves ensuring the highest standard of health and wellbeing care for our students, from the Medical Centre to the sports fields, and boarding houses. You'll work closely with House Parents, Pastoral Leaders, and the Sports Department, as well as independently and autonomously as a clinician. Head Groundsperson

The Duke of York’s Royal Military School is seeking to appoint a hard-working, detail-oriented and organised Head Groundsperson to lead the Grounds Maintenance team and take responsibility for a Grounds Future Strategy. The Head Groundsperson will support the Facilities Management department, ensuring and enhancing the maintenance and appearance of the School’s 160-acre grounds.

Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV)

Due to a recent expansion in Cadet numbers, The Duke of York’s Royal Military School CCF is recruiting Section Officers / SNCOs to support the delivery of training for the Army, Royal Navy and RAF Sections. This would involve attending a weekly parade from 0930 - 1230 on a Saturday morning during term time, as well as several training events throughout the year. This is a fantastic opportunity for ex-military or current ACF, Sea Cadet or RAF Air Cadet CFAVs to step into the CCF world or for CCF CFAVs who would like to work with a new Contingent.

As a Section Officer / SNCO you would be expected to support delivery of training in line with the ACS21 Syllabus up to (routinely) 2* standard and support the Army, R Navy and RAF Sections in delivery of syllabus training

The CCF is willing to support successful applicants to attend qualification courses, including CCAT, with funding potentially available to support this. As a Section Officer / SNCO you would be eligible to claim up to 28 days Volunteer Allowance for training conducted outside of weekly parade mornings. You would also be eligible for the School allowance, £2,000 annually.

A successful applicant would show a commitment to the Cadet Forces, a desire to work in a new environment and a passion for working with young people. You would report to the relevant Head of Section and be responsible to the Contingent Commander.

Head of Keyboard/Chapel Organist

The Duke of York’s Royal Military School seeks to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and creative individual to develop and enhance the Keyboard Teaching and Chapel Choir within the Music Department. Teaching Assistant

The Duke of York’s Royal Military School is seeking to appoint a motivated individual to join our teaching body as a Teaching Assistant.
